A few days ago, the UK’s Official Charts Company announced that the Queen’s Greatest Hits – Volume 1 album (released in 1981) had become the first album to cross the 6 million sales mark. If one were to assume that all the albums are still in existence and that there was no multiple album ownership, then about 10% of Britishers owned this album. Quite remarkable!
Well, the album has some of the best songs of the band so I am not so surprised. Almost all songs are gems; I would recommend that you pour yourself a glass of Chianti and enjoy the album!
